Reiko Cordeiro Licensed Professional Counselor
Offering hope, empathy, understanding, support and a safe environment for healing and growth.
Counseling can offer a safe environment for learning new tools and techniques for handling everyday frustrations. For many, stress and anxiety, depression, grief or loss, persistent irritability and anger, frustration with yourself, your job, your spouse, and/or your kids can be overwhelming and exhausting. Because of this I offer empathy and understanding to encourage emotional healing and growth.
I work with adult individuals and couples/partners facing a wide variety of issues including relationship conflicts, depression, stress/anxiety related to work/school, fear, shame, work/life balance, guilt and grief. I am a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator for married and premarital couples hoping to build a strong foundation for their relationship. Therapeutic theories and approaches I utilize often include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Prepare-Enrich. I work uniquely with each client and endeavor to tailor counseling to fit your needs. |
A little about me...
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, I attended college in Los Angeles, California before I moved to Oregon. For nearly ten years, I've been working with a local non-profit that supports the healing and recovery of people experiencing home and food instability.
